They're self appointed because no one else is smart enough to know about global warming than they are. Didn't you get the memo?

if sea levels rise avg earth temps will fall because of oceans being 55-75 degrees avg temps. i have heard this, sounds plausible except for one thing, there's this thing called the sun.

Global warming is real, but not to the degree that the trumped up idiocy hype declares it to be. You have to look at the average temp for an entire year. And those have gone up by partial degrees almost consistently since the 40s. But in that time I think it's gone up less than 2 degrees. Now does that pose a problem for the future? Sure... but when, and how much of one? Nothing like the hype for sure, unless we do absolutely nothing about it. Which is the crux of the deal. The ones needing to do the most are big businesses and the excessive rich. Yet they're, mostly, the ones doing little to nothing.

But.....we have only been keeping records of the weather for a little over 100 years, they claim the earth is like 4.2 billion years old. The temp has been rising for half of our 100 years of records.
This would be like farting and telling me that the room temperature is on a steady increase.
I know, they know exactly what has been going on every second of the earth's past by looking and bones and rocks and shit.

Also....I'm more than half way through my time on this shitty earth I couldn't give a rat's ass.:p

It's a Pa. based chain of convenience stores. Very big here in NJ and Pa. Owned by one family and I think they intend it to stay that way. They have the best milk but it's goddamn pricey!
