I really like driving that car too. I actually let Matt drive it when we took a road trip down to Savannah. Went there to scope out if we wanted to live there but that's a pass on that. Way too expensive and nothing much to do for him. Job opportunities were very abundant either. Florida wins. Just gotta work on selling the house. It's gotten very shitty here so it's time to go
So how's retirement treating you? Did you buy that Shelby you were looking at on the bike trip a couple years ago?

Noooo....LOL no Shelby.
Retirement is gong OK so far, just trying to enjoy the summer for the first time in about 45 years.
NY pretty much sucks also, but we decided years ago to just stay and ride it out till the end.
Mostly it's the cats that don't want to relocate.

We are down to one cat! Seriously. Wobbles is the last one and suddenly she's starting to show her age too. It's so weird having only one.
When Sofie passed away last September (or so I forget) Wobbles got real clingy too. Never had that happen before and then again I never had only one cat.
I will wait until I move to get another pet. It'll make things easier.

I'm in FB jail again. got me 30 days for using colorful language against some woman beating the shit out of a pony. Apparently animal abuse is OK on FB but not sticking up for the pony.

Go get the Shelby. Or any other fun car that grabs your attention. You got some nice roads up there for a road trip despite the fact that you'd be using premium gas. FTW - go drive the car. Enjoy the rest of your life. Don't waste time waiting for things to get better because you and I both lived through the Carter years and it took like 16 years to get out of that hole. I'm not so sure I'll live that long so fuck it all. I'ma take it all with me and enjoy the ride.
