0 Well, usually the blue screen means the hard drive croaked on you. If you can't take it back to factory settings, just buy a new hard drive and reinstall everything anew. Cop another hunk of RAM while you're at it and make it a super netbook

0 Blue screen of death can be caused by tons of things because its just the windows OS way of protecting its data, I have had one from corrupt OS files to incompatible driver files and then ram issues caused it at another point.
