PFFT. I had the F250 diesel, remember? No side step or running boards required. I hop right in like a champ. That truck was a good foot higher than the F150.

I find it stupid that I can get more out of the pickup truck than an SUV. It's ridiculous. They're not SUV's anymore, they're fucking mini buses. I don't need a bus, I need a winter vehicle. Besides that, we surely can use another pickup truck around here for hauling other stuff. Tired of paying for delivery on things I can easily do myself Smile

I am a little surprised that an F150 is what will work the best.  But sounds like a good compromise.

Having a truck around can be handy.  In the past year, I have easily hauled 50-60 loads in my truck.  Junk out of my Dad's house, junk out of my son's new house, my stuff to my Dad's when I moved in.

Don't forget the sudden "close friendships" that start to show up when they need something hauled. Not falling for that again.

Yeah, those are easy to ignore. Not too difficult to be too busy to haul your sorry ass crap for you!

That pretty much doesn't happen around here because damn near EVERYBODY has a pickup (or 2....or more).

Around here they either have a pick up, or a Subaru...
