I have Chick A Boom in a box of old 45's sitting 5 feet from me among some other golden oldies. Sadly my mom had the box for many years and she ditched some of the really good stuff I had in there.

0 I'm not as big a fan of RHH as I used to be. He's a bit hokey and knowing other rockabilly bands personally, the scoop on him is he's a total tool and only does it for the money and fame. He doesn't truly like the music personally and likes his fans even less. Surprised me about this when it was told to me but more than one professional musician has said as much. Kind of bummed me out to hear that.
That's a good one you posted though! ![]() ![]()

Kind of bummed me out to hear that. I never knew any of that but Mike Palm from Agent Orange said exactly the same thing about all the members of The Cramps when he gave me a ride home from a show they did in Sacramento after I accidentally drank my cab fare. It was nice to tell my teenage hero how much his music meant to me face to face. We did bonghits and he played Bloodstains on my Danelectro silvertone and signed it in lacquer pen. For posterity:
