Yeah, they wanted over $2K here as well.

When I called Liberty Mutual to cancel they wanted to try to top that price with a "reworking" of the policy. I laughed when she said "$2300". See ya

I took the Geico with limited torte and my next insurance payment will be $90 / month. Much better.

Oh and we have a new president Smile Rioting in the streets of DC - people having tantrums and acting like assholes. Signs of "treason" along the parade route. Seriously? Treason? people bitching to impeach him. On what charges exactly? Damn, give him a chance to fuck up first.

Progressive has been the best price/coverage combo for me.
After 10 years they are still better than anyone I get quotes from.

I've been with state farm for like 30 years. I know, I should shop around.
Your signatures annoy me.

You should Twist. for ages it was all pretty competitive here and everyone was around the same price for me. Then yesterday showed that something gave way at some point.

It's really a good idea to shop around every 2 or 3 years.

Most of the time if you find a minor difference you can talk your company into matching the deal to keep your business. I look around but so far Progressive has always come out on top for me. Plus, I get "loyalty extras" for being a customer for the time I have been with them.

I'm paying $119.00/month for 2 vehicles full coverage with both Barb and I as drivers.

Even if you don't find a better deal you get a better feel for current rates, coverage, etc.

I was not aware that the difference here was relevant anywhere outside of Pennsylvania.  That was the only place where I had heard of the limit on your ability to sue being either baked into your insurance or not.  Do you have some limits in NJ?  In Colorado there is not such thing.

This is from GEICO's page:
https://www.geico.com/information/states/nj/

I'll be switching to full tort after reading this:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/...99574.html

The insurance company always makes it sound like it will not be such a big deal to take the limited.

Interesting.  Naturally full costs more?  Is it a lot more?  I don't think I would ever go with less.
