0 I am just glad they are doing something. The letter the HOA sent sounded surprised that the engineers said this needed to be done ASAP.
In Colorado we have two seasons. Winter and road construction.

0 Out here we get road construction after we find where the money from taxes for it went (IE: swindled by some politician) then debate about it for another 10 years then start the project, halt it under the guise of ran out of funds only to find some other dipshit politician swindled it and we have to raise taxes to fund the project for completion.
When I first moved here road construction and the roads were awesome, then they decided to let union workers do the work. Now when roads are resurfaced it's not much better than it was with the pot holes. Example is manhole covers. When you resurface normally they would add a metal ring - similar to a big, thick washer to the new height of the road surface so you don't damage your million dollar rims driving over it. Now, not so much. 0 With respect to NJ highway projects........a large part of the funding troubles goes straight to Jon Corzine.
How many millions went missing and were discovered to be gone shortly after Christie took office? 0 Yeah and everyone hates Christie for balancing the budget "on the backs of the unions". Bullshit. I'm sorry, but public sector jobs goes beyond the visible people you see. Cops, firemen, teachers etc. I feel they should foot some of their health care and retirement funding like the rest of us and not depend on the sweat of the middle class - which they are as well - to foot that bill as well as our own for them through higher taxes. That guy working in Housing sleeping in the slop sink, or the dumb bitch fucking up records somewhere, the clerk who can barely read let alone file things correctly, the cunt who answers the phones with an attitude you just want to punch right out of them are all part of that "public sector union employee" system too. Job security is enough of a reward for their slack work.
