For $9 / year I have a gps built into my phone with voice and some other goodies. It gives better directions than Matt's Magellan.
He wants the Tom Tom now.

edit to add:

The gps on my phone is free without voice if I want but what's the point if I have to read the map and drive?

Yea, driving and poking at a phone or looking at it are huge pet peeves of mine, nevermind the fact it causes serious accidents.

My internet provider sucks balls. But it is the only DSL we can get here, and I am not paying the price for fucking satellite. Someday, we just might get cable internet out here.

Have Matt look at this one:
Garmin GPS unit
It's one designed for truck drivers and is more accurate than 98% of the units out there. Expensive? YUP! But it includes updates for life.

I have a Garmin, not that one. It's not bad. The voice has some problems pronouncing the street names round here, but other than that...

I hate listening to that bitch too. The men are worse. The British men are even more obnoxious. Good thing I'm smart and only need the thing to guide me in when I get off the highways and closer to my destination on the minor roads. Once I drive someplace I'm usually good to go forever.

Sometimes I set a route and go a completely different way on purpose to see how fast the thing can recalculate.

Matt's GPS can't get us out of our development properly. For some reason it has streets that don't exist in there and tells us to drive on them. Google maps does the same thing.

Big Fish Games, you need a better class of customers, your current batch are for the most part idiots.

Me, going off for the 549th time in their forum:

Quote:All of these games involve some sort of challenge, be it magical or based in reality. If there are any children in the story, even a mere mention of one, people here clutch their pearls and start sermonizing how these games encourage child abuse.

CiChDa is right, please take it to general chit chat. I'm tired of looking for game comments and having to wade through a barrage of outrage over a cartoon character being enchanted by a witch. It's ridiculous.

Surprised I haven't been censored yet.

Seriously, they're bitching to that extent on everything? Those games are so benign as it is.

Ask them if they enjoyed the Looney Tunes cartoons as children and if they now think the "animal abuse" perpetrated by the likes of Elmer J Fudd was acceptable.

It's probably against one of their million rules to mention Looney Tunes.

I hope to god I don't get like that when I'm older, I'd rather be a cranky but still sharp old broad.
