employers don't fire people they fire themselves.

I do all of the hiring and firing, it never bothers me to fire someone if they are getting fired its because they failed not me.

just keep it short and sweet.

True that the employee makes decisions that leads to them being dismissed. I still feel bad. I was failed by this person by doctoring time cards and doctoring commissions so they were stealing. Maybe if I did it more often it wouldn't be as hard. We also have a small business so we work closely with everyone. That's what made it hard, that they were dishonest and we had to let them go.

The worst part of being a business owner.

The person then justified doctoring the time cards. When I said, "You could have said there was nothing going on so I left"
They said, "Yeah, that would have went over well." Shok

It sure as hell would have went over alot better than lying. WTF

When I was an acting supervisor the biggest problem I found was older people not being able to get their head around a younger person telling them what to do.

I had to sort out numerous disputes between employees and numerous grievances and I really had to assert myself to convince older fucks to do as they were fucking told by me.

I heard a Canada goose this morning. It sounded like it was the only one, I wonder how it got separated from its flight mates.

Spring is getting close!
Our ducks are back in the cove in my back yard.

Soon we will have the geese too!!
It is so fun to watch them with the little ones!!
