Hey Folks!
No1 son is back in work after 7 months!
'Health & Safety' haven't allowed him back into the workshop yet (another assessment in 6 weeks), so he is delighted to be 'stuck' in the offices with the girls.
The other apprentices are green.........

The fact its now still daylight at 1740 hrs gives me a little lift, the snowdrops are popping out, the chill in the air is gradually getting milder.

Winter is indeed a season of death.

One of the salesmen that worked with me for awhile on a few projects died Monday he was 40 years old and was just finishing getting divorced he had 3 children and was paying 500.00 per week for child support. He was working for another company on the cape and missed work on Monday so they sent someone to his house to check on him and found him in the back yard dead. They said he fell and hit his head, but I think he fell on a bullet. Not a bad guy, but his sales were way down and he was let go about 4 weeks ago. Poor fella.

Is it already? I guess they're keeping the early DST now! Yay! I remember when I was a kid there was the "energy crisis" and Nixon was president then. He ordered DST year round and we thought it was great going to school in the dark!

I'm stuck on my old computer for awhile. I'm installing Windows 7 on my new mac. I can run both kinds of computer systems on it. Naturally I fucked up the first install and I need to call Apple support to help me fix it. Good thing I paid for 3 years of "asking silly quesitions"!

$2,000 a month for child support? I had no idea having children was so expensive... that's over $600 a month per child. That's a lot of food.
