The old one could connect (slowly) on its own to amazon.com for downloads and stuff but this is much faster. 0 Cool. I got the WiFi version of the old one last year. If I knew this was coming out, I'd have waited!
I figure mom will like this as an intro to tablets/smart phones. And you're right, the old one's experimental browser SUCKS! I don't bother since I have the iPhone.
