New Apartment building falls over Imagine you are living in one of the same buildings, right next to the one in the video. And imagine you had to look at it every day you looked out your main window. I wonder what you would be thinking about the high technology of Chinese construction techniques? Doug Coy is immensely impressed with the fact that the Chinese managed to build a 15 story hotel in just six days. I'm impressed: aren't you? And in that short time, how many inspectors actually inspected the quality of the work? What if someone left out a few rivets here and there? 0 It's mere existence and the fact that it was essentially self sufficient with respect to goods and services available WITHOUT government intervention. It IS a slum.
