Gotta love boys! You need to assign him a bush in the yard for 'emergency' pees!

Your built in shelf isn't so bad. If you can find some bull-nose or corner bead tiles that match you can frame around it. Hopefully they come with 45º angles already cut into them or hubby will just have to be real careful making the cuts!

All our bushes are "pee" bushes. We have 2 1/2 acres of woods so I don't care where he pees outside. It's the random inside peeing I have a problem with.

I am going to live with the shelf for a couple months. I already thought of doing what you said with the bullnose or the mosiac. I have to wait though and chew on it. 45 degree angles aren't a biggie. I do all the cutting cuz hubby breaks all the tiles. He's too ummmmm-bullish.

Should be Duckbath in about 4 days. Touch up painting, let grout cure, put on sealer and viola'.

You know, I thought of this after I posted.... if you do bullnose it or anything of the like, you will have a small 'puddle' of water that won't drain out of there. Nice enough to breed mold unless the kids are good about wiping down the walls after a shower. Not trying to insult you but young Mr. Piddle doesn't seem to be the type to wipe the shower walls! Hell, I have a hard time getting my own grown man to do that here!

Your idea of using mosaic on the outside like a frame would work.... the water would not be trapped that way if you only keep it even on the outside and the angles at 90º so the water rolls out.

I think the little shelf looks good. Knowing what a bastard doing that kind of stuff can be, it looks damn good. I like the color choice for the tiles also, it looks like it will be hard to tell if it is dirty.

Twist, you read my mind. Being the bathroom is for the trolls, it might not get cleaned as often or as well as it should. It is THEIR responsibility to clean it. Being the 10 yr old has no problem peeing in the unconnected toilet, I had to go low maintenence.

BTW-he did go upstairs and scoop it out today with his plastic gloves on. Hubby said, "I can't believe you got him to do it". Got him to do it? Seriously? Last time I checked I was the parent........Picknflick

The icon had nothing to do with the story, I just liked it. Giggle

He asked, I said no. I didn't want my ShopVac smelling like pee.

I don't blame you, Jammin. You can't get that pee smell out of the shop vac. Learned that the hard way eons ago and chucked one good vac out due to that. I was sopping up a puddle of horse piss in the trailer. Never again.
