Well besides the air-conditioning at this time of year.

Whistle
So: Story time.
There was once this young man (we shall call him...Dick) who has to come to the shop every day for his 'medication'. He was quiet, polite and opened the door for the elderly. He rarely said anything, which was a shame because one of the things we encouraged was a chat even if if was only about the weather.

He was getting better and began about talking about his gardening job he had just started and his new girlfriend Kitty. Then he got 'knocked off' his pushbike and was quite messed up, grazes mostly, on his legs and hands- classic bike road rash. We sorted out dressings for him so his girlfriend could clean him up (we aren't allowed although we all have HepB vaccination).

Monday- he arrives as normal but hobbling very badly wot. We put it down to the bike accident and suggest he really should have gone to the hospital.

Tuesday- he arrives being supported by girlfriend, who turned out to be quite sweet, far to nice to be with him to be honest. I look at his injuries which were even worse than last weekShock, so I asked him how did this happen because it's not from his push-bike. He fell out of a window, 15 foot up.
Hmmmm.
I call the Pharmacist who agrees he still really should be going to the hospital, clearly the ankle isn't broken, but something serious is going on and the grazes now looked infected.

Wednesday- I'm busy working in the back room of the dispensary when Dee rushes in and grabs a medication bottle and some water and rushes offRun, muttering 'Dick is in, and he knows the rules about not bringing friends in because they shop-lift. These two look right dodgy.'
I call the Pharmacist and suggest he goes out to supervise the proceedings, which he agreed to do.
They both come back in to tell me this dodgy couple turned out to be plain clothes police officiers! Dick had a nice 'bracelet' to wear they gave him.Angel

Thursday- No Dick.

Friday- No Dick but a call from the clinic to ask how he was getting on and was he behaving. The pharmacist told them the saga of the injuries and the nice new friends Dick had made.

That afternoon we got another call. Dick had gone on holiday (how nice). He went to the magistrates courts on Wednesday afternoon and was bailed for Thursday. He 'disappeared'. He was found again by Friday and taken to court again where the magistrates decided he would like a holiday to recover from his injuries he sustained when he 'fell out' of a window after helping himself to one or two items.

And I said I didn't think he was climbing out of the window to avoid an angry husband Hysterical

Poor Dick. I think you aptly nicknamed him for this story!
[Image: PancakeBunny.jpg] I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

Was it your bike he uses to call us daily?
My dad thought it was great Dee thought the police 'looked dodgy'. My dad could make himself look fairly dodgy too (still can).
