And the winds are now picking up. Shutting down all electronics for the rest of the day.
Good luck everyone!

0 I am living the coast line! Big pine tree next door already uprooted. Am happy it's not in my pool but went the other way instead. Power is gone. The "hull" downstairs is breeched. Can't even buy a generator online to pick up when this is over. This sucks.

0 The saving grace is that it has hooked harder west than was expected. Now instead of Ocean City being the center the eye will hit a bit farther south at Cape May.
The bad part of that is you'll be on the north side of the eye so the surge will be stronger. Projected time of arrival is now 6 PM as it was to be 8 PM with earlier predictions.

0 Went to my business around 3:00 pm and got there just in time to shut down registers and stuff my employees got sent home by the police at 2pm. Cop wanted me to leave my store but I told him I was just closing out and stuffing the registers and then leaving so he let me stay. Had to dodge a few trees on my way there and home. Heaviest part of storm is to come should be interesting to see what happens. All road in Jackson close at 6pm, I have all my batteries and back up charging units for my phone charged and ready to go. Now I just wait I will take video or pictures of anything of interest as it happens, sadly the glory of this storm is going to happen in the dark.

0 Atlantic City is completely swamped. Large sections of the boardwalk are ripped to shreds and the White Horse pike is getting heaved apart.
Saw a pic of the A.C. Coast Guard station......I could see the Brigantine jetty in the background across the Absecon inlet but it looks like the south end of the island is completely flooded.
