Here is the official photographers back for Bike Night

I'm looking pretty pissed off, in both photo's
No1 son really wanted the first pic and then after the 'incident' was trying to over take me to make sure I was ok- bless him.

This is one of 2 scooters (her partner was just before) No1 and I caught up with her on the 'Hunger Hill round-a-bout' which is a nightmare of changing lanes. She was in the wrong lane every time and then 'white-lined' to squeeze into a lane to go to the lights that filter to the quay.
Using the back lane we got on to the quay before her and pinned her partner to make sure he looked after her a bit better, since she was Very unsteady on that stupid bike.

Hopefully there will be some decent pics of No1 on his Triumph in a few weeks time

That red and white scooter? Is that what 'she was unsteady' on? Hysterical

Sorry, I shouldn't poke fun, but damn, that thing doesn't go fast enough to die on if you crash.

They are a total pain, not fast enough for the main roads, so people get impatient, over take, then smash into the next one. These scooter roam in 'gang's and there is loads of mishaps with them because they just haven't the mobility of speed to get out of trouble.
Over weights often get them them because they can't get on anything else, which put too much pressure on the lack of power.

Those things have to ride along the side of the roads here if they can't get to highway speed. Basically in the bicycle lanes.

Reminds me of the Mods v Rockers in Quadrophenia.

This year we have been going to the quay a different route.
But Phil' gave me a lift (still bike shopping) so we came passed Snake Pics on the Triumph Speed Triple.

Much nicer pillion ride now he has fixed the rear suspension! BikersBikers
