If you had just put down all the cleaning gear, and loudly proclaimed, "I have to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back and then finish the job." Then it would not have kept raining, because it would have been waiting for you to finish.

Read Murphy's Law, and try it next time. Wink

You celebrating the 60th Jubilee early Giggle We have monday and tuesday to celebrate.
We are going to the Sheep Dip Bike festival, it is bound to rain, it did at the 25th.

Living "Over There" it is an unusual day if it doesn't rein, or at least threaten to.

When I lived at Lakenheath, it seemed to rain 24/7. What a dreadfully depressing place to live.

I'll send 'em to you. Pay for postage.

Exploding water is horrible. You can boil water in a pot and it looks like it's almost ready to boil. You suddenly remember it's been on the stove for like 40 minutes at this temperature and realize it should be at a rolling boil by now. Drop something in there... BOOM! you get a ton of water suddenly and ferociously boiling over and onto your hand. That's exploding water.

It's not even the fun kind of explosions. Just a lot of hot water and burns.

Seems no one wants them. Mom won't take them. Sammy likes her silly Paula Dean pots.

I'll never buy a pot endorsed by a chef. Never had an inkling to in the past. Mom thinks Wolfgang Puck is the living end and bought me a set of his awful made in China piece of shit burn your hands pots. The company wouldn't even make good on them when I complained about them two years ago when I first got them. All they did was send be a set of metal spoons and forks and spatulas to cook with. Fuck them.

Damn pool water is cloudy after shocking it. Banghead The water is warm enough to swim in too.
On a happy note, I'm going to cook some really choice Tbones I picked up for like $5 each after club card discounts and sales! Dinner is going to be awesome.

I wouldn't mind having them, the only pot I've got is one of those old glass ones... corning? I love it but it's heavy and awkward to pour from when I make oatmeal. I wonder how much shipping is.

Dunno. Those things are HEAVY. They're stainless steel with a very thick - almost 3/4" metal plate on the bottom of them. I'll see if I can get them all in one box and weigh them and figure out the shipping. I'd be glad to send them out to you if they're reasonable to ship.

Shoot, I'd be happy with just one pot. I've got a bunch of cast iron skillets.

OK tomorrow when I've got the house to myself I'll take a picture of the set. Let me know which one/s you like and I'll pack them up for you.

USPS has a flat rate shipping deal, I'll check the prices and box sizes and see what I can figure out. You may not like them at all once you see them anyway.

What kind did you get? I've had Revere Ware pots/pans for over thirty years. The copper bottoms tarnish, but they convey heat better than the rest. Great product.

I'm still trying to understand just how one gets water to explode, without separating the hydrogen and oxygen, and then recombining them. You can actually get to the moon that way.
