This was a 1.7 million dollar home they destroyed. Which really isn't the point. The point is that these kids should be taught to respect people's property. Just because the house was empty doesn't give them the right to break in and destroy it. Someone has to pay for the damage. When we were kids we actually partied it the parking lot of the high school. Or we found this clearing we would all go too. There is no excuse for destroying anyone's house.

Where the fuck were the neighbors? You'd think they would question a party occurring at a supposedly vacant house. I'm not excusing it but there is a certain mob mentality that occurs when a huge number of teens get together to party.

I never held parties at my parents house for that very reason. But I can remember attending many parties that got so freaking crazy police helicopters were called in. *sigh* fun times!

If a kid had held the party at his house (without his parent's approval), I'd say he/she should bear responsibility for being an idiot and holding the party in the first place. This is a little different since they apparently broke in.

My son would have been the first one I paraded through the town tied up in the back of my pickup while I announced over a pa system that "THIS is my son, one of the little shits who tore that house up. Anybody want a piece of him?"

Jeez........that makes breaking into the elementry school during summer vaca and watching Saturday morning cartoons, then hitting the cafeteria for some milk and crackers and later taking a dump in the janitors sink sound like kids stuff.

How could you take a dump in a sink? If I'm not warm, cozy, and relaxed, a little music, a magazine, and a cup of coffee things just don't go well. I can't imagine in a sink?

The houses in that neighborhood are on huge lots. Well over an acre so the neighbors probably didn't hear much.

I was maybe 12 yrs old and climbed the roof that got me into the unlocked window. I did not like the janitor he was creepy. legs just a dangling off the sink as I laughed. Oh the good times.
