0 So Today we pick up the car.
Tuesday I called the dealer telling them to do the stripes and I want a third key. I also told him to find out about snow tires with rims for me. I called the dealer yesterday because i realized I did not discuss color of the stripes. No answer so I left a message. All day goes by and he doesn't call. Around 5 PM he calls to tell me he won't be there today because he doesn't feel good. I asked him about the stripes and he said they're not done. They need to be ordered and it takes a week. WTF? I CALLED TUESDAY. I asked if he heard my message from this morning. He didn't bother listening to messages. ???!!! Now I am pissed. Tuesday was plenty of time to get an order in. We're still picking it up today, but I'll have to bring it back for the stripes which takes two days. I'll be talking with the manager. I spent $40K on a car and i get none of my requests addressed? Not cool. Dealers don't lose money on Aplan prices. Ford reimburses the dealer the difference in price.

0 The problem was you went to larson, the salesmen their seem to not give a shit about anyone, the managers are dick holes too, they just like walking around in their larson ford stamped wind breakers and pretend to be everyone's friend. In your case the dealer was just a middleman for your deal. Freehold ford gave me a deal that was almost 100 dollars a month less then larson, and the truck from freehold had more bells and whistles the MSRP was almost 2k more.
My uncle works for pine belt Nissan, he said on average the dealership makes less then a grand directly on any sale their kick backs vary on their sales volume and pay out nice for the dealership and that's what they mainly care about when it comes to a sale. However my uncle said the parts department is the big money, with the tire sales accessories and customization's big profit margins. A big part of doing big volume in car sales is getting a big volume in warranty work, shit breaking and having to fix mistakes done at the car plant is just a necessary evil for car manufactures and equates to being a big percentage of profits that lines the pockets of the dealerships.

0 Freehold will give you a good deal, but I got a great deal Anthony. Larson is giving me the stripes and a spare key for free. That's like $700 due to their fuck-up. They're also going to make good on the paint and other issues because when I got there, the entire car is swirled. The owner himself is pissed. This is all due to a lazy salesman.
I got a $40K car for $31K - I also saw the true factory invoice and they did the discounts right. A-plan deduction and THEN incentives and other discounts taken off. And yeah, I got the extended warranty and the tire & wheel warranty added in. Why? Because for a $50 deductible Ford will take care of it all. So I get bumper to bumper coverage for 8 years instead of 3. Not a bad deal. So the pictures the dealer took for us ALL had Matt's head chopped off. Oy. When the sun comes out we'll see about going to someplace nice with the tripod and take a few photos, or I might wait until we get the stripes on it. Sync SUCKS. I can't even get it to recognize my Pandora app.

0 Awesome looking car! You definitely got a good deal no argument there, all I am saying is you could have gone to a better rated dealership for better customer service and handling and got the same deal.
The A-Z Plan Pricings are controlled by ford as a manufacturer. The dealership is just the broker of those types of deals. They have to give you the plan pricing plus all currently running incentives, if a dealership try to do it any other way they can lose their license or be limited in what they are allowed to sell. Remember Oasis ford in old bridge? After like 2006 dont quote me on the year they could only sell used fords because ford pulled their license to sell new ford cars and trucks. Reason being they did some shady deals and screwed over "ford family" customers. All american which was in NY bought out oasis and converted it to all american ford. Being it was a different licensed dealer in good standing that took the property they were able to sell new fords again. Awesome car none the less and you deserve it, Hopefully I will get my F250 in spring/summer , then we should race lol.

0 I went to Larsen because I got offered a good deal through USAA, but I wound up with a better deal anyway through them. What prompted me to shop around was going back to Down's Ford in the first place. I probably should report them for playing with the numbers. Somehow I went in with a priced out a car from Ford.com for like $32K and they did the numbers and it comes out to $37K! W. T. F.?
Larsen was honest and up front. They showed me the true factory invoice on DAY ONE and did not give me a scratch sheet done in a sharpie. The image here is what Downs did. What a joke. When we were in Larson there were a couple of customers who walked out of Downs and drove up as well. One guy came and talked with us and he too said they played funny with the numbers. I should report them. Some years ago when I was looking for my first new truck I went shopping at Larson and they treated us like dirt and I walked out. Never went back since, but we were stuck looking for a dealer only part on a Saturday and they were the only ones open later than Downs. Went to Downs first and was sold the wrong parts. Never mind the bullshit attitude we got when the sale was final on the other Mustang. Went to Larson and Matt was sold the correct parts and was given some help on how to install it easy. I think Larson has improved over the years. Down's scratch pad:
