0 I am thinking of having them pull the stripes off until I can afford the paint job. I know I'll negate my warranty for the factory paint, but I'll have the warranty from the body shop AND a better paint job.

0 If you saw it in person you'd say something different. It looks like someone took stickers and slapped them on the car. Now I've got bubbles that are going to burst once they expand in the sun long enough and there is some hair UNDER the stripe and it's worn in enough that you can see them easily if they're only slightly dirty. Never mind the guy cheated on the last fix and omitted 4" under the license plate.
The rear is peeling under the long light bar under the tail fin and the cut outs around the lights are lifting too. It just looks like shit. It LOOKS like stickers some kid put on.

0 I don't think they can twist. Talking with a ford rep on the mustang site and she's willing to help. The dealer isn't fucking up, it's his guys so sending it to the same inept asshole time and again is just an endless circle of the same.
Pearl will still fucking hot anyway.

I don't know if I said this in one of my other posts regarding the process so I'll say it again. The dealer IS busting his ass trying to get it right. It's costing them a fortune to keep paying this guy to fix it. They say no, but I know they have to be paying him. IF not, he's fucking up repeatedly on purpose. They don't have Ford trained body workers in their shop anymore. Since the whole auto industry fiasco, dealerships cut back on genuine Ford services and this one cut back on the body shop and outsources the work. I said time and again if I were this guys boss he's be fired and fired swiftly for shit work. There's a goddamn chip in the hood that he put there too! One of many that he made including the one on the rear bumper when they prepped it. Fucktard tried to say it came up from Maryland like that. No it didn't because I had taken pictures of it before prep. So, unless the rep on the forum can arrange to have someone AT FORD fix this issue, I'm not so sure I'm willing to continue on this circle of bullshit. And it also comes down to either the dealer is getting fucked over by this guy or the dealer is patronizing me thinking I will not pursue this. What I should try to get Ford to do is pay for the paint job and have it done right. Stickers is NOT 'done right' IMO and this is all bullshit. Cody - I have every intention of keeping this car well into the "antique" status and maybe even get into showing it at car shows. I plan on tweaking, and customizing and having some goddamn fun with it and to me, details are everything. I won't show off something that is half-assed and cheap looking. Pearl is going to look hot.
