RE: "Lucky Dog" no kill shelter scam
Hey, that's fine. Being courteous, not busting in line, or trying to run over folks in front of them is boring stuff I'll agree.
Yesterday, returning from my daughter's in Columbia, SC, I stopped to 'top off' my tank at Sams, and went next door into Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of items. I was standing in line behind an older lady, when a new cashier started to open the counter next to us. The cashier nodded to the older lady and motioned her over to her register. But suddenly some gallant and considerate gentleman rushed to the head of the line, blocking out the old lady. And after a bit of outrage from a few of us about his gracious behaviour, he replied with his idea of what we could all to to ourselves. And judging from his accent, it was obvious where he came from. That's how to teach those boring Southern hicks, how real gentlemen act 'up there'. Yeah, a real gentleman. Too bad he had to come down south and offer us the benefit of being born in the land of Milk and Honey. If there is so much milk and honey, then why do they have to move down here where we are so boring and backward? And of course if you happen to be born while Southern, you are naturally a slow hick, boring, uneducated, and just not in tune with the times. How revealing. |

Yes John, rudeness is a trait strictly contained up in the north east. You get to see it when we allow our folks out to terrorize the south. We have to let them loose on occasion because we need to make sure you are familiar with this kind of behavior in case you come up here for a visit. You need to know how to react.

Is he preaching how wonderful the South is? All I saw were mostly fat diabetics eating tons of fried food washed down with corn syrupy stuff and sweet tea, hood rats, and nothing but arrogance with no foundation. The South is somewhat of a fun joke to me. I love a good laugh, and I get it from the Southland. Snake handlers with terrible genetics.
Of course, that isn't to kiss your ass, TK. Fuck New Jersey, New York, Guidos, cartoony accents, crime, and most of New England except New Hampshire. The lattermost drink a lot of beer and have tons of guns. A-ok in my book. I wish I could put up a wall at the Mississippi River and allow no one from the East to come West. |

RE: "Lucky Dog" no kill shelter scam
As regarding animal shelters, there is a no kill shelter around here with a 98% adoption rate! The other two percent end up being permanent residents running willy nilly around the place.
I'd love to volunteer at shelters, but I've suffered enough heartache in my life without seeing animals unwanted or cast off, and I can't take them all home. It would be horrible to work at a regular pound where they euthanize. Anyone who scams such a thing is an asshole of the first order. |
