We had a shelter here pulling shit like that about 10 years ago. They didn't go to the extent these fucks did to cover up their lies.

Taking money from people to sponsor animals they planned on killing anyway... that's reprehensible. There better be some criminal charges against these assholes.

Yeah, you'd think there would be but depending on the state's animal cruelty, animal rights and trade laws, who the hell knows. They'll wind up with a slap on the wrist and a small fine.

I know most laws don't punish animal cruelty with much more than a small fine but they swindled money out of people, that's usually a LOT more serious.

Yeah but remember that guy in Ga who ran a bogus crematorium and swindled people? That story faded fast and I don't think he got punished very severely either. Kind of fucked up you know?

Well, Charlie just told me that were he not a pure Shih-tzu, and so outgoing, he too might have wound up at a place like that one.
He's really upset that these sort of things occur. And he also hopes that that....................woman gets everything she deserves coming to her.
