think of the horse throughout history! horses who labored. horses of war. history would be quite different without the contributions of the horse.

I agree, but after they invented the internal combustion engine, unless you are a cowboy or something horses are just kind of a pet.

I guess they are about like a dog or a cat, I mean who really needs them? But we all have them.

I've always looked at them kinda like cows, big, eat a lot, cost a lot to keep, but they don't make milk to sell and it is frowned upon if you eat one of them.

Horses make and produce milk for their young and I've actually used it in my coffee when I ran out when my mares were nursing foals. It's actually pretty damn good.
