A Rare steak is hardly akin to drinking a goblet of raw blood.

All I know is how violently I vomited after ingesting my own blood. I will go by what and why my doctor told me the reason for that was and not some weirdo that thinks scrounging the last bits of a carcass for a meal is ok.

Sorry, but I like Liver and black pudding, both full of iron and B vitamins.

If that makes me a carcass scrounger then so be it.

I must admit, I enjoy a brekkie that has black pudding included.

As long as it's cooked properly, with the right seasoning, I'll eat anything.
....I'd happily eat failed Al-Qaida bombers

And what about the Germans..?? They used to hunt and eat, Yeti during the war.

How about this Scottish treat?, a black bun.

A spicy fruitcake covered in a layer of thick pastry.

To each his own.

There are people who make faces at the thought of scrapple. Around here it's a special treat!

For those who don't know, scrapple is a mixture of scraps from beef and pork butchering cooked to a mush and combined with cornmeal and spices then formed into a loaf. It's a breakfast food which is sliced and fried.

Depending on your proximity to Scranton,Pa you use either ketchup or pancake syrup on it. Closer to Scranton syrup, farther ketchup.

i had fried scrapple with maple syrup as a kid (in Maryland). my Mom was southern, and bought it at a farmers market. i wasn't crazy about it when i found out it was stuff they swept off the abattoir floor.
then as an adult my Dad would buy it at the market for me because he thought i liked it. in the dark of night i would take it out and leave it in the deep woods so as not to seem unappreciative. Sorry
