I'm not sure it could be revived, it's been pretty tainted. Better to start over from scratch and as a recent poll here indicated, no one's really interested in the concept right now.

It was fun, but I am not really sure how anyone can sustain such a level of anger for very long.

I can be a bitch, but it isn't the part I like best about me. Being mean to people constantly is tiring and sad. I started to notice I felt sad and angry after being here.

D, I was mean to you. The truth is that you were a little hottie in that photograph. Had I been in school with you, I'd have let you chase me until I caught you. Brains are always sexier than brawn and I have never been attracted to veiny, overmuscled, idiots who likely are trying to compensate for a lack of intelligence or a poorly endowed penis.

Duchess, your post terrorizing D and his professionalism was horrific and violated your own terms of service. You posted very personal information regarding his employment, and his employer. Apalling.

As for Ramsey, she is one of the kindest, sweetest, most loyal, hardworking people I know. She went through hell and back and pulled herself up, bought her own home, and is working her ass off to raise 2 children singlehandedly. I wronged her out of anger and hurt. Any association she has or has had with someone of unsavory intentions is because she is entirely too trusting and always tends to see the best side of someone, even if it really isn't there. There really isn't a vindictive bone in her body. She deserves a lot more respect than she receives here.

So she's a soup chicken. So am I once in a while. I like to hear about people's lives.

I want to hear about Whisky's baby. I want to hear about how exited Jammin is to have a grandchild, and how she has stayed so youthful and beautiful.

Username has been married for 16 years! That is amazing and wonderful and I think nearly qualifies for the Endagered Species list.

Being angry, insensitive and mean spirited in the name of "fun" is just not. Everyone has so many more qualities than just being asshole's.

Greens pm'd me a few days ago to apoligize for her past actions. I said I accepted her apology and we can leave it at that. And then she posts this wondering paragraph about me? sniff sniff. I still would never trust her again. She can be very sweet and super funny. But she has issues.

The only negative thing I can think of about Mock closing was that when I clicked on it this morning I had 6 new PM's that I can't access now.

I don't suppose they were anything that important though.

I peeked in pretty late before going to bed last night and user had made a very scathing remark in the random thread about the 'seamless transition' from one admin to the next. Nail on head. It made me realize how very fast that forum went to shit and I actually felt sorry for Duchess.

I feel a little sorry for her too. As much as she liked Mock, I think the place would have thrived had Frank turned it over to anyone other than her. She just seemed to take it all way too seriously.

She made the classic mistake of asking Frank for advice, as soon as she started doing that Mock was doomed.

Why ask an admin who had failed at controlling and running two different forums for advice on being an admin?

Giving Frank credit, he did keep 24 up and running far longer than I would have expected. I wouldn't call it a thriving forum and I think he allowed certain factions too much leeway, but it was still relatively active after several years.

Mock probably had a limited shelf life anyway, and Duchess wasn't really suited to run it. She got all power mad and disciplinary in a forum that had touted itself as 'anything goes.' Rank running around like a little fairy with his stale insults didn't help at all either.
