0 The Red Ryder came out in 1940.
They are still in production today. I see the trigger assembly looks like a modern model so I'm going to guess it's no older than a 1980's or 1990's production run. As well you need to check the magazine loading location. The old ones had a large cap on the barrel end and you unscrewed that to pour the BB's in. Newer models had either a slot in the magazine tube or the barrel. The newest have the slot in the barrel. Also on the cocking lever, the new models go through 7 ratchet points where the old ones were one motion to the end. Get some pics of the other side, front of the barrel and a closeup of the trigger area and I can be more accurate in dating it.

0 Mine is an old junker with mismatched bolts and screws in it, probably from some kid taking it apart to see what makes it work. I have no idea of the age, but it was old 30 years ago when I found it.
