So since I got the car I bitched and moaned that the headlamps were NOT illuminating the road properly. Matt just kept blowing it off saying the factory knows what they were doing. Well, whoever leveled the lights had fucking googly-eyes because this whole time one lamp was up and the other down.

I finally broke him down and got him to look at the instructions in the manual that is in the glove box and we took care of it last night. Those fuckers were 7 full turns of the set screw off! SEVEN TURNS FFS! We raised them up a good 18" from the line they were set at - which looked to be about 8" off the ground or so.

No wonder I hated driving at night.

I wouldn't even know where to start with adjusting headlights. The last vehicle I had that needed it was any 84 dodge truck.

It's ridiculously easy twist. This car only has up and down, but most have up and down and side to side. Driving home at 4AM was a treat.
Just use Youtube or look in the car manual if you still have it. They always have the instructions in there. Matt looked on YT but we used the one in the manual instead because it was more specific for my car's model year.

Usually for side to side you have to remove the headlight assembly, adjust it some and put it back.  It's a pain, not terrible easy to do, and not accurate.  But it is there.
