I used to have a whole lot of 45's as a kid and a few years ago I snuck into mom's house and stole my collection back. To my dismay, she threw out most of mine, but kept her rubbish.

Let's see what you have collecting dust.
I need to get a turntable. I love the crackly sound of vinyl.

I have a cabinet chock full of old 45's and the bottom of my entertainment center is packed with 12" vinyl.

Jeeze, with all the digital crap nowadays, I haven't even bought a CD in forever. Remember those record clubs? '15 records for a penny!'....

I think I furnished my entire CD collection with those clubs. BMG and Columbia House if I remember right. I still want a turntable.

Remember this one? You had to flip it halfway through.

I should show you some of the horrible stuff my mother stuffed in there.

I have a really good turntable, 45 and 33 1/3 rpm's. Haven't seen a 78 in even longer. But it's down in the garage, wrapped up, I wouldn't even have a place to put it if I wanted to use it right now. All the stereo equipment is below the TV in a cabinet with a cooling fan.

My mom has the entire Glenn Miller orchestra collection on 78's. If she hasn't destroyed it by now I'll be snagging that up.
