Let's start with some Wobble-heads:

   

Baskets & cat beds. These were made with some old Macrame cord I had lying around. All the crochet patterns for baskets were calling for yarn and that's just not sturdy enough. I have a really big basket I made out of cord for the couch pillows and stuff that had no place.

These are two shawl type coats I made for mom for Christmas. They look a bit off because they are on a mannequin set for my exact size and height and she's 4x's bigger across. literally

OMG how cute is this? I made this for my friend Violet's kid. She is really big into that whole psychobilly/halloween thing and when I saw this I had to make it. I'm giving it to her 3 year old tomorrow.

BARBIE ON THE CAN!

Two friends recently got married (both mine and Matt's tattoo artists) and since we're friends, but not "I'll give you a kabillion dollars cuz you got married" kind of friends but a couple of steps above casual, I felt a gift for the home is appropriate.

One gets the Barbie the other gets a cat TP cover because he likes cats - a lot. If he didn't live in a tiny apartment in the city he'd have 50 of them like we do.   Purr

Apparently they don't make Barbie with bendable legs and arms anymore. AND Barbie is not as popular as she once was. There was very little to choose from and any of them with dresses had no underpants. Pretty slim pickings. I blame the dip in popularity on making her politically correct and the boob reduction.


   

He has a tail but it's hard to see against my counter.
