We have a Triple Crown winner!
5 1/2 lengths.
That horse barely broke a sweat for the mile and a half too.

0 No way. NYRA has very strict doping rules. all horses are tested before a race and again after. You can't even use worming medication a week prior because some of them mask drugs or can give false readings.
It was a good race. I watched him hold that horse back the entire time until the far turn into the stretch. Then he let his head loose and the horse took off from there. Second fastest time in the Belmont behind Secretariat. NO ONE is EVER going to beat Secretariat's record. That horse was a freak. Penny Chenery was there to watch (Secretariat's owner) and welcome American Pharoah into the very small and exclusive club of Triple Crown winners. Did anyone else notice the horses name is spelled wrong? ![]() ![]()

0 I bet Lance Armstrong could dope a horse and get away with it.
I would have never known that the name was spelled wrong except that I saw a thing on the news about it like a week ago.

0 Yeah, Matt wants to go. He's never been to the track. I've been for some big races and it's always a madhouse. I can take him any time.
I feel racing him again is a huge mistake if they're going to put him out to stud. They are risking grave injury and gambling on that stud revenue going kaput if he breaks a leg. ALL thoroughbred breeding must be done via live cover and the breeding rules are very, very strict. IF he breaks something and actually can be repaired, then the big question would be, can he hold his own weight on the leg for breeding? This goes for front and back legs. Best to play it safe and go for the steady paycheck for stud fees. Lance Armstrong got caught. Dumbass couldn't sneak anything past the NYRA ![]() ![]()

He would have been OK, but he got greedy and went back for more, Floyd Landis wanted to ride for him again and Lance snubbed him, then things got dirty. Too bad that horse can't make the decision for his own self, bang young hottie horses or train and run and race other sweaty, smelly, horses.

0 Once he's put out for stud he will have the good life. He'll be seriously spoiled and he'll be getting laid on a regular basis.
