You must remain at a standstill with your feet on the pegs for a certain amount of time - for some reason i remember 20 seconds - before you can put your feet on the floor. Basically they want to see if you can balance a bike. Why? Dunno, it's stupid but they did make us learn that in classes I took prior to my test. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! We never went over anything like that, still got my license. I don't think it would be that easy to balance a static bike. And below 10mph they are unstable.
That is the single most thing I practiced over and over. And let me tell you, that late 70's Honda 400 was not well balanced. I don't know if that sample in the video is correct anymore either, but I couldn't find a good video of someone actually taking the test. There was one with a scooter, but I figured why post it if the test doesn't allow anyway.
I gotta say, learning how to balance is good for me though. There was no way to get my feet flat on the floor at a stop on any bike. Short legs so balancing was helpful getting licensed. The A.B.A.T.E. weekend crash course does something similar too. I took a class where they taught you until you were fully comfortable, able and ready for the test, then they brought to the test.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head
