Heinlein was good for writing on how things ought to be done. If you have not read any of his stuff have a go at it. I just found about 8 books of his I haven't read and ordered them all on my Kindle.

I read stranger in a strange land, and i LOVED the character of that journalist . His fuck off attitude and hatred for the system was something i could really identify with. I did not care so much for the last 1/3 of the book where the religious overtones were so heavy.

I read that book when I was 10. 5th grade we had a book fair and the cover had a twisted face with the word "GROCK" on it. I HAD to know what that was all about. Teacher told me not to buy it and I'd never understand it. Bullshit. I read that book 5 times in my life too.

David Bowie made his Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars album after that book Smile

No I didn't. I've never read any of Ron Hubbard's books actually.

Oh good. I was almost afraid that you'd start in on how we all come from outer space. Rofl

That's more plausible than creationism but I'm a believer of evolution.

Meh - I don't rag on anyone who has religion. If that's what gives them peace in life, who am I to say otherwise?
