My chinchilla, Trixie, has crossed the Bridge

Sad to say, that several days ago my chinchilla, Trixie, passed over the Rainbow Bridge. She had suffered from some breathing issues over a few days prior and she was not able to recover. We decided to keep her home, and let her go in her own time. She left us Wednesday afternoon of last week.
She was almost 9 years old, so she had a good life, and was otherwise very healthy and cared for.
She loved to watch Television with us..liking music, dancing and singing....and football. Go figure on the football one.

Yes, she was a fun and interesting furry companion. My husband was ready to send me out to get another pet right away. I said no...I am ready to be a non pet owner for a while. I like my furry friends, but a break from the responsibility is nice too.
