Has anyone seen this poor excuse for entertainment? Oh god. I succumed to peer pressure from friends on another forum, and DVR'd a couple episodes.
You know, there is frugal, and there is borderline mental illness .
There was one segment about a man with a wife and 2 kids who was the ultimate in what he considered frugal. Their living room consisted of a card table and 4 folding chairs. And a TV set up on the floor. No other furniture.
He would gather change in a big jar, bag it up, and take the whole family to a Chinese buffet..pay for 3 plates (for 6 people this time) and said they were just gonna share. Then pay with his bag-o-change. His wife said Fuck this, and all the others got up to get plates.
Then there was the specimen in the attached video. A CPA, who washed her clothes with her in the shower. She would dumpster dive for food and then feed it to dinner guests.
Remind me not to eat at her house.
