I don't care much for cats, but I certainly don't make a point of torturing animals, even cats. Either it goes to paradise by my hand as vermin control, or I leave it in peace. The latter is the case 99% of the time.

I wouldn't abide torture if I saw it taking place, and I've put several animals who were severely beaten or abused out of their miseries. It isn't fun. I've seen dead people and the associated gore that came with their deaths, rotten animal carcasses, animals kill each other, and a lot of things in my comparatively short time on this Earth, but fuck if it is one thing I cannot stand, it is torturing an animal.

Worst thing I saw for a long time till I saw another worse thing was when they would shoot all the dogs on a FOB or Camp in Iraq to keep the place hygienic and prevent diseases, or dogs with bombs on them or inside them from running around the base. The reasons were actually very, very valid, but it still tore at me for a long while. Most of those dogs were just friendly street dogs.
