I don't know if this is really lucky, or really unlucky.

0 I don't even know what to say. Anyone jumping for suicide over these falls is nothing but an attention whore IMO. If you truly want to end it, just friggin end it and let the cat eat your face and let your family find you after you've been missing a few days. Jumping over the falls just doesn't make sense to me.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 I dunno, if you are gonna go out, maybe he wanted to go out with some flair.
Everyone can't die in an Indy car, or a plane crash, or a space shuttle disaster, for some of us a waterfall is all we can afford. Speaking of the falls. http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wire...7uG71Lwong This guy has been big news around here lately. Now my problem is: A FUCKING SAFETY HARNESS???? Shit with a safety harness I could walk over the falls, why doesn't he just walk over the bridge, show his passport and we won't have to miss the Simpsons on TV that night. I think he is a pussy and the safety harness was planned all along and he's just throwing it out there at the last minute like he didn't know anything about it. Fucking pussy.

0 The article says the TV station is making him wear the harness. Their reasoning is to prevent viewers from any trauma they might have if he falls. He's not the pussy, the station is.
I heard nothing about this upcoming "event". Is it only going to air locally by you or nationally on ABC?

0 Hey, they say they're called the Great Wallendas at the end of the article. I thought they were the Flying Wallendas? When did the name change? Is the article wrong?

0 I still think he's a pussy and had the harness thing planned all along, no matter what he says.
Maybe being great is better than flying when trying to walk a tight rope? I dunno if it is gonna be just aired locally or not.

0 I did some research. Even though they are officially the Flying Wallendas there ar previous references to them as the Great Wallendas so it must be acceptable to them either way.
As for the guy jumping the rail. The odds were against him surviving so I suppose he thought it was a pretty good way to kill himself. He would have been better off jumping from the Rainbow bridge though. It's much higher and the high banks make rescue much harder. He'd probably been more successful that way.

0 Well, it was a massive fail either way. Dumbass didn't even make it to the water from what I can see on the news story that just aired on my local news. He hit the rocks. He's lucky he didn't go SPLAT!
He could have jumped from any cliff if it were rocks he's aiming for. Idiot.

0 Have you all every watched any of those close call videos on YouTube? Had this fellow watched any of them he would have done things a bit differently. Unless of course he was just trying to get attention and didn't really care it he failed.
There's a whole series of these things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7wN0F77nMo&feature=relmfu |
