Pardon my ignorance here, but what does 'cacks' mean? It is in the title and post, so it must have been spelled out on purpose.

So no one has ever heard the expression "cacked it"? In the link and it says the was sick and died.
Just a new different twist on bought the farm, shit the bed, ate the soggy shit sandwich, answer the final summons, assume room temperature, bite the big one, bite the dust, cash in one's chips, croak, go to the last roundup, go to one's reward, kick the bucket, meet one's maker, number is up, push up daisies, six feet under, take a dirt nap, wear a pine overcoat, you know, cacked it.

I didn't know he was sick either.
Still, any good bar band worth their salt still plays fight for your right to party.

Alright, let's say this is going to become part of the mature lexicon of today's language. With that in mind, can you explain just what it is that brought this "cack, cacks, cacked, cacking, etc" into the land of verbs, and the history of how it evolved into what it is?

There's bound to be some half-way logical reason, but for the life of me I can't fathom how. Help me here, ok?

It is an adaptation from the British slang lexicon. Cacked is evolved from carked. The denizens of the UK have been using the term for several decades now.

It was a buthered form of "kicked it" ex......"Yeah bruvva, the old fart carked it in his sleep. Poor bugger!"

I was recently reading that this song was written as a joke and wasn't their usual style of music so it was ironic that it became so iconic. Dunno since I never listened to these guys. Damn shame he died though, he sounds like he was a good man.
