Our "farm cat" Horse (yes that IS her name) has given us 3 new additions to our collection of furry friends.










Two little females and a tomkitten. The tom's name will be Victor due to a prominent V marking on his face. The girls are yet to be named but we'll see what their personalities lead us to as they grow.

Love tabbies! Very good looking kittens.

Bit of cat and dog trivia. That "V" on Victor's head is really an M if you look closely. The inside lines on him are just a little longer than usual. The story goes that cats with this "M" are blessed by the Virgin Mary and if you look on some dogs there will be a spot on their head between and just above their eyebrows. They call this "Allah's Thumbprint", and again, blessed by Allah.

I laugh at the Allah's thumbprint because Arabs can't stand dogs for the most part. I guess this came from those less nutty about cleanliness of dogs and were the ones who valued them as working partners guarding their flocks of sheep and goats and those who used dogs to hung (greyhounds, saluki's)?
