OK anyone wear special clothes for specific sports?
I don't usually. But I did when I competed with the horses. Now that I started biking, I'm finding underwear to be a problem.
Twist, I know you wear specific clothing for bike riding. I went usually just find lightweight, flexible things to wear with a sports bra and loose tank top. Been OK for now and the spandex capri type leggings were good until it got to be brutally hot around here.
So, I hit the stores for shorts. I got myself THESE in a couple of colors to give them a go. I didn't realize until I got home they had "underwear" built in. But they are not exactly snug fitting britches and the seams are a little bulky around the leg holes.
Am I supposed to skip out on my own underwear with something like this? I have been "doubling up" and it's pretty uncomfortable on the seat like that.
I have a pair of spandex bike shorts with a cotton crotch that looks like it's made to be worn commando as well, but I don't want to wear them in this hot weather because they are too long on the leg and I'll have a damn farmer's tan if I do. Seriously, I tan in the woods and it only takes walking around for me to get darker by the minute.
Any insight into the working of proper clothing and underwear would be appreciated.
