0 I have a bell handle bar bag that I just bought over the winter for my trail riding mountain bike, I will give you the low down after summer is over.

0 OK, a couple of pics, one of my cheapo bell seat bag from wal mart, about $9.
It's just stuffed full of shit, probably weighs about 3-4 pounds. The velcro works just fine, I've never had one fall off or even come loose. Multiple uses for those tarp bungee cords. I will even use one as an emergency type brake when I am pulling BOB, when I park, (lean that mess up against a tree) I put it around the brake lever so it won't roll and fall. Also, if someone jumped on and tried to steal it, it just might slow them down long enough for me to get to them and knock their ass over. But I always kinda figure that if you jumped on my bike with BOB in tow you would probably fall over on your own in the first 10 feet anyway. Rarely do I ever use a lock when towing BOB. Also, I guess my bike hitch rack could be taken apart also. I think if I were worried about it, like if I traveled to some crime infested neighborhood like NJ,, I'd run a cable lock from the bike holding part of the rack to the hitch on the truck. And lastly, a cool rock I found in the pine creek in Pa. Heh, I took the pick and then left it there.

0 I bet Havoc knows all about that rock. Doesn't he collect them?
I have the same handlebar bag. Fucking zipper sucks on it otherwise it's working fine for me for an el-cheapo bag. My new bag is nice and I'm happy with it. It's narrow enough that I don't scrape my thighs on it on every downstroke. I like your bungee idea! I now understand what you're talking about the steadiness of the hitch in the receiver. Unfortunately, that screw thing is not an option for me. I am going to have to hit Hect again and have them fabricate something for me. That aluminum hole is going to stretch mighty fast from rocking like that and that's going to cause problems. The hitch pin is already nicked up from it. They'll get me something solid and one piece of iron and it'll fit much better into that sleeve or they'll make me a 3" to 1 1/2" reduction rod. It could stand to come out straight out of the hitch instead of angled too. Be easier for me to lift the bike off that way.

0 So far my handlebar bag is good, except for like you said, the zipper kinda sucks. But the reason I got it is for riding trails, carrying a wallet, camera, sunglasses, chapstick, etc, etc.....you know, a possibles bag that I can just pull off and carry with me.
Anyway, back to the cheap under the seat bags, this is all the shit I carry on my road bike, the collections always grows and shrinks and changes as I see fit, but this is the basics. I always say, never leave anything to chance. So here we have my co2 inflater, 6 co2 cartridges, 4 wire ties, (I can mount any tire made with a wire tie and 3 tire levers, you'll come asking me about this if you ever get a tight fitting tire), a presta valve adapter, pliers, my woody multi tool, 1 spare tube, 3 patch kits, 1 old style patch kit with glue and thick rubber patches for a temporary tire repair, money, a piece of bent wire, a finishing nail, (these are for pushing an object like a piece of broken glass out of your tire so you don't flat again as soon as you get it fixed), a pen, (for marking the hole in the tube and marking the tire so you know where the valve was so you can line the hole in the tube up to the tire and look for the culprit that made you go flat in the first place) 3 spare clips to hold BOB onto the bike in case one breaks, (I've never had one break yet but I have 10 spares and I've never even towed BOB with this bike). OK, that is a pretty well rounded emergency kit, there might be a few more things in there that I can't or didn't see. There should be some matches in there and a shotgun, but I must have left them in my other bike.

0 No buck knife? I keep a 6" Buck knife and two leatherman mini tools with me.
I got my Park Tool multi took kit today and the el-cheapo iPhone thing for the handlebars. I will get the good one from that other site when I can spare $65 for a phone case. This one I just don't see as holding up too well, but it will do the job for this year. I'll take a pic of all the crap I've got stored in my bag Twist. Never thought of zip ties and a wire cutter though, good idea!

0 I Just bought THIS saddle. It came today and OMG I LOVE IT!
It's flexible! that split down the center is just that, a split seat and underneath, there is a flexible V that moves when you pedal. I can't wait for the weekend to try it out. I would now, but the bike is buried and it's going to rain for three days

0 I have a Terry Liberator saddle on my K2 mountain bike, it is what came on it when I got it, as luck would have it, it is a hell of a seat and I like it as much as those cheapo nashbars that I buy all the time.
