I own clubs and stuff, I have not played in about 5 years. I was lying about buying stuff at any auction.

0 I play but it's more along the lines of Caddyshack and not serious. I can't play in shoes or a bra. I can't play with my ladies driver but I need my Jack Nicklaus Big Bear (or whatever it's called) driver.
I haven't played in like 10 years only because I don't play that well (around 115 - 120 over par) and I've no one to play with.

0 Sounds like me, I can't play in a bra either, we'd get along just fine.
I'm not that into it because I really suck too. It is a fun game though if you have someone to play with that is about the same as you are and you are just out to have a good time.

You could come and see the mummies in Dorchester. There is a Tut Museum in the town. Real artifacts and several real mummies. It's weird seeing them knowing they were once Kings and Queens, and they were so young! The Banks Family (back to Corfe Castle) were extremely rich and financed much of the trips to Egypt, and were paid with things brought back, gold head dresses, statues, tombs, even some of the walls with paintings on, and the bodies too. It can be a bit gross Most of it is in Dorchester or in the Egyptian room in Kingston Lacey House (where the family lived in the 19th century). They started a school at Canford, one of the highly regarded boarding schools and the fees are mega now (What I earn in a year is a pupil fee). They had a coffee shop in the grounds with a stone wall they wanted to knock down to make it bigger. It hit the National press, because the surveyor realised the Eygptian carvings were not fake (as thought by the school) but a piece of tomb missing from records in Egypt! The Banks Family had stolen it. It was sold at auction for a huge stupid amount (I think its in America now). So the school got its new premises and the rest of the money is invested to sponsor gifted pupils at the school.

That's always a sign you are having too much fun. I will say I am an awesome coach. My ex got me into playing. He was a par golfer and he had a pro card for awhile. His game I hear sucks now without me helping him with his swing. I've an eye to help everyone else but myself!

0 Check out my link ^^^.
Just so happens that it is roughly halfway and there is also around 60 miles of rail trail right in the area. I actually thought about going there and riding this trail this year, but kind of put it outta my head. Then I searched for a golf course about half way and some of the towns sounded like I rememberd them for some reason.

0 I did see your link
When I lived in NYC I was right by one of the better courses (better by difficulty level), La Tourette and it was in the middle of the "Greenbelt" where I rode my horses. Great trails for horses and golfing later on. We used to take the cats hiking in there too. Yes I had a pair of cats who liked to hike the woods with us. We got hollered at when Pee Wee used one of the sand traps as a litter box!

0 Why does it take longer to drain a water bed (with a motor/pump) than it does to fill the friggin' thing?
New heater is in. Mattress filled and warming up. Warming up could take a full week to get it to 80º.

0 The time I had to replace a waterbed heater, the old one was centered under the matress, and is just stayed right there. I kind of lifted and rolled that matress up the best I could and we shoved the new heater under as much as we could, it worked fine for years till we got rid of the bed for a new one. Then we threw out the old heater.
