There are bad cats and then there is Sofie.

My god this little thing is a tiny terror. Today in her frenzy she toppled a pitcher of milk (nylon placemats do not absorb milk!), launched off the glass shelf with the plants on it, spilling dirt into the spilled milk and catching the bottom of the fern hanging from the ceiling.

This all happened in a split second -

I heard the noise, got up and went inside to see her lapping up muddy milk, the plant swinging and the dog and cat dishes full of soil as well. I yell at her that she's BAD and she arches her back, sits, cocks her head and goes "Bloooooop!"

She's sleeping next to me now with the face of an angel. Purr

Now you remind me why I haven't got a cat now Hysterical

My mother told me about her friend Jo (she is confirmed totally bonkers) she has only 3 cats at present. One cat has comes in every night and jumped on her bed to tell her he is home, then proceeds to dry his paws on her duvet cover. She told mum after 5 days she ran out of covers because she couldn't keep up with the washing, so.... she made a cover out of old towels just for this cat.

ALL the other cats are well behaved. I've had over 40 cats in my lifetime and not one has had the devil in them like Sofie does. Nick-knacks are being put away off shelves at a rapid pace because of her. She can't sit still. I know when she's sleeping she's only charging up her batteries for another maniacal run through the house.

She's recruited Iggy as her running partner. Sadly he's a fat lard ass who can't do the acrobatics she can but they've adopted hurdles system where he waits for her in front of something with some distance between him and the item (sometimes its the dog or another cat) and Sofie runs at top speed hurdling over each item. We run the Puissance here!

So, two years ago (this spring) I bought new couches. The one design I had to have was that it was low enough to the ground so that dog and cat toys don't go under there and force us to fetch them out.

Well, the tiny fur mice and milk rings do go under but something as big as a tennis ball absolutely cannot. Until Sofie came along.

That tiny terror goes UNDER the couches and sleeps there! Purr

Next time I'm going to snap a pic. But here are the couches - taken just after I got them and before I got the lamp out onto the table. Do these pieces look like a cat should be comfortable under them?

but there's no room to go UNDER them. Do you see a space big enough for a cat?

But once you get under it's probably spacious and comfortable.

Nope... it's sealed and flat straight across! And I checked, the little stinker did not rip open the fabric.
