Would anyone be interested in playing a "death pool"?

I play in one called "About2croak". This the 3rd year I've been in. I could set up a private game just for those of us here at Twitchin' Kitten.

You get 20 picks for your casket and it's calculated at a points value minus age for score. You can get in at any point but obviously it's best to start Jan 1 of the year.

If anyone is interested I could set one up for the remainder of the year so you could get a feel for it and start a new one Jan 1, 2010.

It's free to play. No prizes except for bragging rights at the end of the year.

The list of "coffin fillers" is provided by the host site. If you wish to add a name you can submit it. They have an easy to navigate menu which will let you do it.

Basically the list is of celebrities and people of note. They have them broken down into categories. There's a search option so if you have someone in mind just type in the name.

You pick 25 names for your casket. If one of your picks buys the farm you get points! The younger the person at the time of death, the higher the point value. Easy as can be!

You are automatically entered into the general competition for your country and your particular locality. I need to set up a private competition for those of us here. Your picks count in all the areas so you only fill the casket once.

Do you want to play out the rest of this year so that you can get a feel for the full 2010 game? If so I can set up our private leaderboard.

Let's go with a sub forum. That's prob easier for you with the permissions for moderator. Here's a thought......since I'm the one who seems to be orchestrating the "forum games", could you set it up that way and move all the game threads there as well? Something to ponder.
