Mikki says.... I cost the humans $145 for a mystery last night. That's right.

You ever want to set panic in a human, start streaming rivers of pus out of your ear and fuck up the dilation on one eye and call it Horner's Syndrome.
Doc looks in her ear, takes samples, flushes, looks again and absolutely cannot find the source of any kind of infection or abscess. Total mystery. So, we're leaving it as is for now and see if the pus comes back. If it does, back she goes for two shots.

They got these long term antibiotic and steroid shots for cats now. Doc says it's better than pills or drops because cats are so damn difficult to medicate. I agree. I don't enjoy the wrestling and getting scratched and the stress on the cat can't help healing. She says you give the shot and it's a two week deal. I like that.
Spent awhile in the vet's office shooting the shit and going to have her spay Sofie next week too. Going to cost me 1/10 of what it would cost in the regular vet's office.

I also found out my vet died last week Sorry Seems they kept it quiet. I guess his wife probably couldn't handle seeing so many vets there at once. I know I wouldn't be able to. Gotta send at least a card to the office today.

Awwwww...sorry to hear about your vet Twitch.

Tuxedo J. Pussy cat gets these infections about once a year after fighting with another cat, his front leg will swell up and those two week shots are just the ticket to get him fixed up.
I have never heard of Homer's syndrome, that was pretty interesting though.

Scruffy, we found out has asthma, and we have steroid shots for him on hand.
Uh, I guess been there, done that is what I'm saying.
Scruffy should update his thread, he is probably twice the cat he was last summer.

I found the warmest spot in the house. I don't give a fig if it messes with your TV.

I don't know how she squeezes in there without knocking anything over. Matt's hat pile is on the dresser next to that thing and she doesn't touch anything.
