Long stretch of highway in South Dakota I got my sporty up to 110. No faring, no face shield. It didn't feel like the proverbial 'freedom' of bike and open road! Normal speed limit there is 75 and I hated that on my bike too. It's not so enjoyable when you're trying to concentrate on not having the wind take your head off!

No. 1 son says hes done similar, its how he got his speeding fine, 91mph, head on the tank, feet on the rear foot pegs, hes says he got it faster, won't say how fast though, just answers not as fast as he had the Fazer.

*What is an ST?
My bike is a CG125. The bike out of shot on the left is a 1950's Ariel (which is scary as pillion, no grab handle), the right is a 600cc Ducati, No1 son's mates bike.

The Harley did not allow one to lie flat like your 'racing' style bikes. It was awful at those speeds.

"grab handle"? Isn't that what the guy in front of you is for? Giggle

An ST is either an 1100cc or a 1300cc Hondw. After looking at the picture again I see its a smaller bike.

Yep! Much smaller- It will be along time before I will be allowed something that big- if at all- my license only allows me on a 125cc for the time being.

You have to be "licensed" for different sized bikes? Thats odd.

She's in the UK, vtx. They got all kinds of hell you have to go through to get a bike license! Look in some of the older posts in this car forum by Rhubarb. She's got a few of them of the trials of her getting that precious license!
