At first I couldn't find a topic to put this under but then I remember: bowling is actually considered a sport. How about that.

Anyhoo, we start our bowling league tonight. It is me, hubby, daughter and son-in-law. My goal tonight is to bowl nice and shitty so I have a good handicap (I think that's what it's called).

I bought bowling shoes and the effers are too small so I will have to wear the nasty rentals tonight. Daughter will buy the new ones if they fit her.

My hubby said I bamboozled him into bowling because he didnt know it is going to last 30 weeks. Haha

Am going to have a few Drinks and will let you know how it all goes.

I was just going to say that bowling lasts like 139 weeks or something.
If he don't wanna go, let me know. I'll play with you.Loungelizard

My mom and brother bowl in leagues. I stink at it. Always did. I'm the gutter ball queen. I once bowled an 11 game!

I couldn't wear the shoes. Nono No way, no how Barf Just thinking of all those stinky feet in there and all they do is spray them with lysol is enough to freak me out. It's right up there with public restrooms.

I'm a shitty bowler, but not near as bad as you TK.

My hubby hates bowling. Too bad. I tell him my sister can take his spot and he can stay home with the kids. For some reason he hasn't gone for it yet.

OH I am not a consistent atrocious bowler. That was a one time low. I'm not very good though. I dont' think I've gotten over 150 but I don't bowl often enough to know for sure. There also was always booze or something illegal involved in my bad scores too.

My Son and husband are at the league now. I didn't join the league because I don't need that kind of pressure lol. I'll bowl a 160 the first game and then an 80 the next, I don't know what my problem is. Sometimes my ball will hook and sometimes it won't, it's really annoying.

Oh and my husband hated bowling too untill I talked him into going one night with some friends, now he's obsessed with it. I just liked going for fun every once in a while, now him and my son are driving me nuts with it.
