I took a walk through wal-mart this morning, just nothing better to do on a chilly morning and thought I'd look at some MILF, although there was more in the supermaket. Where was I going with this??? Oh, yeah, MILF....I mean coffee.
I actually checked out the $100 coffee makers, I just don't think I'm quite ready.

I paid $85 for my Farberware electroperk thing. It is worth every penny for good tasting coffee and I know this one will last as long as the one prior... that one was over 50 years old. I inherited it from my granny.

I just pitched an old perkolater in the trash bin a few weeks ago. Never used it, didn't figure I ever would. I didn't know where the cord was anyway.
I do have a stovetop percolator....correct my spelling here...the stovetop thing can make some pretty crappy cowboy coffee if you ask me.
There is something to be said for cowboy coffee, I mean it will do, but I don't want to make a habit out of it.
My best cowboy coffee comes from a tea strainer and hot water. That shit will put hair on your chest!!!

Erm Twistee, don't go to Wally World for MILF's. The only thing you'll find in WW is white trash or ghetto (depending on the area) with a bunch of screaming brats. Negative

Try a Byerlys or another grocery store of some type. Maybe a mall but stay out of WW. When I go shopping there, it's sweats, ponytail and no make-up. Swoon

You want MILF's hit Macy's or the better department stores. WalMart is for entertainment purposes only.

There were a couple hotties in the overprice grocery store that I went to but never shop at.
The only reason I went there was to spend my first communion money....I mean a gift card I still have laying around from Christmas.

I seriously need a new coffee grinder, the one I have now has a broken blade and is now only running when it feels like it. I have another grinder that I use to grind flax seeds and sometimes hot peppers that I have dried, so it is pulling double duty right now.

Does anyone have a burr grinder and why should I spend more money on a burr grinder rather than just buy something cheap at walmart? Is the grind that much better, does it really make a big difference?

I use a Braun grinder. I love it. It's good to grind up pills for animals if necessary or coffee, spices, whatever you need ground up.

The longer you grind, the finer it gets. 20 seconds for nice strong coffee. Longer than that you got espresso.

That's what I have now, the one with the broken blade that works when it wants. It has always done a good job, even with the broken blade.

But now it is not wanting to start spinning all the time, gotta get a new one and I'm wondering about burr grinders.
I don't want to get too fancy, I use a digital coffee maker and now I think I'm hooked on digital coffee and can never go back to analog. I don't want to get hooked on burr ground coffee if it is not special.
