I've actually become happy drinking WAY less. Couple of drinks every few months now. I got tired of feeling like shit for it the next day. Wasting a beautiful day hungover got boring and painful to me. That 'hair of the dog' shit never worked for me either.

Yesterday I reformatted a new hard drive on Matt's computer and now he has TWO hard drives in there. I aquired a copy of WXP and hopefully it'll be good for him. The old drive keeps locking up on him, and top it off.... after all that work yesterday, I think I found the cause of the locking up! The SetPoint software for the mouse may be doing it. I found an old version and hopefully this does the trick. Thanks for the hand holding on this Vizzy!

Today, I'll nag Matt to do all the things he promised to do yesterday.

It was a good day on the lake!
I crocheted some on the boat and sat in the sun. We stop to get icecream!! We are stocked up on peach icecream now. Cause now I will need to wait untill next to get some.
OH, I also got some new crochet hooks yesterday. Smile They are for tread crochet. I needed them to do my ear rings for the fair. Bruce got them for me. What a guy!!

Sunset on the lake was really pretty too. I should have some great pictrues.

On to a new day of crocheting an boating!!!

So my bike ride got cancelled Bikers
No1 son was going to help his grandad with the roof of the shed but went back to bed when he saw it was raining.

After 2 aborted calls with my father (the deaf phone wasn't working) a text message later it was decided to forget any out door work, unless the weather improved.

3 fruit cakes and a Norweigan apple cake in the oven and the slow-cooker set up (note- I'm cooking dinner again) my brother calls the shed is back on, the sun has come out.

4 hours at my parents, with 3 wise monkeys on a roof (my son, brother and father) while I'm preventing my mother from cooking and moving her to safer hobbies like the family tree and photo album.
My goodness my granny was pretty at 21!
There were some scary relatives on my dads side, I understand why he was frightened of his granny- wicked witch of the west or what?

We washed the truck today!
Then we went down to the dam and floated on the boat. I did some crocheting too.

Every time I sit down I crochet. The fair is getting closer every day.
Good day!!

Matt managed to mow the lawn. I spent the day cleaning or being bored to tears.

Yesterday we took a ride, checked on some property we own and checked out some downhill mountain biking at a ski slope. I took my first ride in a chair lift at the ski place. I will be going back with my mountain bike to ride down the hills. Then we went out to dinner and came home and watched a movie.

We watched Cheech & Chong's "Hey, Watch This" last night. I slept (on the couch) till 9:30 with the cat on my head (Mikki) after being woke up by a tiny paw while I was in bed (Sofie).

Firing the grill in just a few minutes to toss the Hugh Jass pork rib roast on the grille on low heat for 4 or 5 hours. Mini pig roast!!!!!! Yahoo

Just gotta pull the meat off then add the sauce and it's pulled pork deliciousness on the table!
