Saw an ad for this on stupid Facebook.

I thought it wasn't your thing until I read they pump you full of beer the whole time too.

That looks pretty cool, too bad it is such short notice I would consider it. Maybe next year.
From what I say it only starts at $250, that's pretty good for anything that is escorted.
I signed up on the e-mail list and put it in my favorites. Maybe next year.

Hey, maybe by next year I'll be in shape enough for something like that and we can meet there. It does look like fun. I promise to have a better bike by then too Smile

I already said you could. I just need the money first. Won't be for a few more months, maybe tax time. Then I can spend somewhat freely.
In the meantime, I will hit my bike shops and throw their ideas at you and we'll bang heads back and forth.

I need a bike for a short person.
I need shock absorbers of some sort in the front and if they make them for the back, YES, I want that too. All that hardware in my spine screams a little on the roots across the trail.

I want on/off road capabilities.
I want handlebars that are straight across and have that ram's horn extension below so I can "get down and dirty" when I need it.
I want all metal working parts, especially in the shifters.
I want goodies too like a rack like I have over the back tire so I can carry shit if I stop at a store. Saddle bags too.
I want a trip meter.
I want metal pedals, not that plastic shit.
I want a comfy seat.
I want comfy grips.

I want baseball cards on the tires Biggrin
I want streamers.
I want a bell.

I don't want a pink bike but having it a little feminine is OK. Just a little.

Am I too demanding?

OOH Lookit this one!

http://www.nyccentury.org/ This looks fun. We can meet you there too and after the ride, we'll get you wasted in some of the best places we know of!
We'll even follow your route and throw water on you if you want!
