They really are a waste of money aren't they? We had one for about 4 years. We got it free and gave it away on Craigslist. Sucks the shit out of the electricity but you have to keep it running or it freezes up.

I am about to re-model my bathroom and everyone keeps asking if I'm getting a jacuzzi tub. Newp. Momma didn't raise no fool. Those things are useless, noisy and suck a grip of water. (No offense to anyone that has one and loves it.)

I am getting a "soaking tub". It was sent from heaven to fulfill my bathing fantasies. Duckbath

Oh I've had my eye on that tub for a long time. Sadly, my bathroom is as small as a closet and I'm lucky to fit a sink, tub and toilet in there now.

I was seriously considering taking the tub out and putting in a shower but that would make selling the house very difficult.

I might suck up the nerve to call that prick ex of mine and see if he'll give me some metal roofing material from his barn business. He's usually got a ton of leftovers and all we need to do is build the ridge vent on it ourselves and I'm sure we can swing that.

I'm going to do my roof with metal. The contractors I know tell me I don't even have to tear off the old shingles if I don't want to. Seems that if you simply nail down lath strips to attach the metal to, the old shingles will help provide a little extra insulation!

That's also an advantage in that if you do it yourself you don't have to be in a hurry to complete the job right away. I could do it a few panels at a time over a week or two period as I have the time.

Hey Twist......what are the dimensions of your driveway? I need an idea of what it could cost to get mine done.

That looks great! Did you put a border on each side? My driveway is about 20 ft long and I traded a 79 dodge ramcharger for it a few years ago. All the driveway pavement guys around here are American Indians I have yet to see a company that is not around these parts.

1. Gawdamn!!!!! A $1,600 bath tub?!?!?!Shock

2. I don't know the exact size of my driveway, I'll guess though, about 75-80 feet long, (just guessing by the approx length of a garden hose) and before it widens out is 12 feet wide.

3. I've alway tore the old shit off of roofs. Shingles on shingles take years off of the new shingles. When the roof guy asked me what I wanted done for the steel roof, I told him to do what he would do if it were his house. He tore the old stuff off.
I even tore the old roof off of my barn before I put the steel on. There is a lot of weight in those old shingles, somewhere down the road you might wish that that weight wasn't up there.
I tore the old wood siding off when I put the vinyl on too.

4. Never ask the ex-prick for anything.

5. I drain my hot tub in the winter.

I'm just saying that people have a way of thinking that you owe them something. Happens all the time.
I'd rather live in a cardboard box than ask some cocksucker that I can't stand for the sweat off of his balls.
